Intercept®
The Intercept is Intelagard’s Compressed Air Foamvehicle-transportable skid system that can be configured to be powered by either diesel or gasoline. This CAFS can be configured for fire applications with an integral foam cell in one tank (H1), or with Intelagard’s patented binary tanks (F1) for optimal use with multiple component decontamination formulas such as EasyDECON DF200. This compressor powered skid also functions as mobile air compressor station for maintenance and service operations, and for the filling of inflatable shelters, showers and bladders in the field. The Intercept can be configured with tanks ranging from 100 to 500 gallons (378L to 1892L), transported using a truck or trailer, and removed for storage. With expansion ratios of up to 20:1 and a projection distance of over 100 ft (30.5 m), this system offers huge capabilities in a small package.
The Intercept is fully draft compatible, enabling it to feed directly from bulk containment of firefighting and decontamination solutions or other resources for efficient long term operations. The powerful self-priming 1-inch (2.5 cm) pump system is capable of up to 70 feet (21.3 m) of vertical fluid lift. Optional spray bar and remote controlled foam monitor turn this CAFS into a powerful all-around emergency response tool.
